ADCHEM (click here to Register for ADCHEM 2012) is the triennial meeting of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) that brings together researchers and practitioners to discuss recent developments in the control of chemical, biochemical, and related process systems. Both theory and applications will be covered on such topics as
1. Batch Process Modeling and Control
2. Model-based Control
3. Modeling and Identification
4. Optimization and Scheduling
5. Process and Control Monitoring
6. Process Applications
The program accommodates contributions from various application areas and methodologies including those outside the classical chemical process control. ADCHEM 2012 is sponsored by the IFAC Technical Committee on Chemical Process Control and co-sponsored by the IFAC Technical Committees on Non-linear Control Systems, Biosystems and Bioprocesses, and Fault Detection, Supervision and Safety of Technical Processes.
ADCHEM 2012 will be held in the exciting city-state of Singapore, which is a melting pot of Asian cultures reflected in its architecture, people, and food. Singapore has excellent public transportation with attractions including a Botanical Gardens with over 10,000 species of plants and trees and an amazing array of tropical orchids, a Night Safari with over 1000 animals from 120 species, Jurong Bird Park which houses 8000 birds from 600 species, the Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, Southern Ridges nature trail, and Mount Faber which offers panoramic views of nearby islands. The 11th International Symposium on Process Systems Engineering will be held right after ADCHEM 2012.
